Qi Linsong, MD in Ophthalmology, attending physician in the Ophthalmology Department of the Air Force Medical Center, young member of the Military Aerospace Medicine Professional Committee, member of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the China Medical Equipment Association, and leader and expert member of the Ophthalmology Group for Medical Selection of Air Force Pilots. With a long-standing commitment to ophthalmological refraction, optometry, and the selection and evaluation of pilots, his primary research areas include refractive surgery, myopia prevention and control as well as its pathogenesis in children and adolescents, precise selection, training, and evaluation of pilots. He has undertaken more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects of the National Defense Science and Technology Innovation Zone, and key projects of the "166" Program. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 30 papers. He has served as the associate editor or lead translator for 2 monographs and contributed to 3 others. Additionally, he holds 9 national utility model patents and 7 national software copyrights. He has been awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award" by the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of the China Medical Equipment Association and has been selected for the "Young Eagle Talent" program of the Air Force Medical University and the "Outstanding Young Talent" program of the Air Force Medical Center.
