Dr. Ye Fuxiang, MD, is the associate chief physician at the Department of Ophthalmology, Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Nagoya University in Japan, studying under Academician Fan Xianqun of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and renowned Japanese ophthalmologist Professor Hiroko Terasaki. Clinically, he specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of retinal and lens diseases, excelling in vitrectomy, combined anterior and posterior segment surgeries, and ocular trauma repair. Academically, he has published over 20 related papers, led and participated in four National Natural Science Foundation projects, and contributed to the compilation and translation of two related monographs. He is also dedicated to medical science popularization and has achieved significant results in this field.
