Dr. Zhixi Li, Attending Ophthalmologist in the Department of Retinal diseases at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, is a PhD specializing in retinal diseases, common causes of blindness, ophthalmic big data, and ophthalmic epidemiology research. As the first author or corresponding author, she has published over 20 SCI papers in prestigious journals such as Diabetes Care, Ophthalmology, and JAMA Ophthalmology. She is also the principal investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, among others.
