Songdi Wu, M.D., Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. Dr. Wu currently serves as the Director of the Neuro-ophthalmology Department at Xi’an NO.1 Hospital (the First Affiliated Hospital of Northwest University) and the leader of the "Dual-Chain Integration" Innovation Team in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Shaanxi Province. He also serves as the Director of the Xi’an Key Laboratory for Innovation and Translation of Neuroimmunological Diseases and the Xi’an International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Neuroimmune Diseases. Dr. Wu holds key positions in professional organizations, including being a Standing Committee Member of the Neuro-ophthalmology Professional Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Chairman of the Neuro-ophthalmology Professional Committee of the Shaanxi Research Hospital Association. His primary research focuses on the clinical and fundamental studies of neuro-ophthalmic diseases. He has been recognized as a Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation for Young and Middle-aged Professionals in Shaanxi Province and has been selected for the Xi’an Talent Program etc. Dr. Wu has received two Second-Class Prizes of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has led or participated in over 20 scientific research projects at the national, provincial, and municipal levels. As a corresponding or first author, he has published more than 100 academic papers in various journals, including SCI-indexed journals.
